US Federal Shredding Credentials
US Federal Shredding is a proud member of NAID (National Association of Information Destruction) we are also NAID AAA certified. This is the only widely recognized credential for the document shredding industry.
We are audited by a third party Certified auditor on both an annual and a random basis. Here is a small sample of our audited items:
- Background Checks:We must conduct full 7 year background checks both upon hire and on a random basis.
- Drug Testing: We must conduct drug testing upon hire and on a random basis.
- Shred Quality: Our shred quality is inspected to ensure the highest level of security.
- Legal Employees: All of our employees must be legally employable in the USA.
- Confidentiality: All of our employees must sign confidentiality agreements upon hire.
- Policies & Procedures: We must have strict written security policies and procedures in force
- Insurance: We must maintain a minimum of $2 Million in insurance.
What makes a US Federal Shredding security driver?
Our drivers must undergo rigorous testing and examination before becoming a US Federal Shredding Security Driver. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Pass a 7 year criminal background check upon hire, plus random criminal background checks throughout their career.
- Pass both pre-hire and random drug screens.
- Go through the US Federal Shredding proprietary security training program before ever running their own route.
- Adherence to our strict dress, appearance, and conduct code.
- Completion of our customer service training program.
